27 year old Australian actor, Liam Hemsworth, switched to a vegan diet two years ago and has said that's it really been a positive change for him. It all started when he went to a nutritionist to do a blood-diet analysis and everything came back fine. Based on the results, the test was saying that red meats were doing well for him and that he should continue consuming. Unfortunately, the more he ate, the worse he felt. One of his friends had suggested a vegan diet as they had been vegan for over 30 years. Liam gave it some thought. So, between his own health and his understanding of the mistreatment of animals, he became a vegan. He feels that it's truly been a positive change for him and that nothing bad has come from being a vegan. He loves the diet so much that he even got his older brother, Chris Hemsworth to go vegan! Chris, who stars in Thor, really had to work out for his film and in the beginning was eating a lot of meat. Eventually, he cut back and started eating more of a plant based diet and found other ways to get his protein.

Liam also has a great breakfast smoothie recipe that he loves and even drinks them a couple of times a day:


  • Couple Handfuls of Spinach
  • Handful of Ice
  • Handful of Berries (Strawberries, Blueberries)
  • One Banana
  • Almond Butter
  • Almond Milk
  • One Scoop Plant Fusion Protein
