Frozen Chocolate Banana Pops


6 ripe, but not too ripe, firm bananas,
I package (12 ounces) vegan, dark chocolate chips (Whole Foods, Trader Joes)
2 tablespoons EVOO
Crushed peanuts or your favorite nut, or candy brightly colored candy jimmies
Wooden popsicle sticks


Prepare a double boiler with boiling water. Place the dark chocolate chips and the sunflower oil in the double boiler, over the boiling water. Melt the chocolate chips stirring frequently. Prepare a sheet pan with waxed paper. Peel the bananas. Place a wooden popsicle stick in the bottom of each banana. Place the bananas on the waxed paper.  Pour the melted chocolate over the bananas, turning to coat them with the chocolate.  Sprinkle the bananas with the topping.  Place the bananas in the freezer until firm and frozen.
